    ProPath, a progressive, CAP accredited, high-volume pathology practice in Dallas, Texas is seeking an Histology Technician for its’ Immunohistochemistry Lab.  Responsibilities include slide preparation (paraffin and frozen sections), IHC staining using our unique manual system, antibody titer preparation, equipment maintenance, supply/reagent inventory maintenance, and QC/QA recording.


    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years Histology experience with paraffin microtomy with a variety of different tissue types.  Working knowledge of IHC theory required, hands on IHC performance is desired. We will train the ideal candidate to perform our manual IHC system.   HT (ASCP) strongly desired.


    The hours for the position are 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.



We’re looking for an experienced Histology Technician or Technologist for our evening shift on an as need scheduling basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Histology experience with paraffin microtomy of a variety of different tissue types. HT (ASCP) preferred.

Responsibilities include microtomy of paraffin-embedded tissue for the IHC lab, operation of an automated H&E stainer and coverslipper and documentation of the receipt of IHC cases into the lab.

The variable hours for the position are between 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Monday through Friday.

  • Histology Technician - Surgical Pathology at UTMB Health, Galveston, TX


The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas is seeking a histology technician to join our growing laboratory.  We’re a CAP accredited laboratory looking for an experienced technician to work the first shift.  We’re looking for someone with the skills to keep up with the early morning turnaround time, and also provide exceptional quality.  This position is responsible for embedding, cutting, staining of H&E slides, and cross-coverage of special stains.

Preferred experience includes at least 1 year working in a routine laboratory, and capable of handling multiple tissue types.
