  •  PBM Labs, LLP is seeking a Histology Technician to work Tues-Sat, 12am-8:30am.
    The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of previous Histology Tech experience.  Associate of Science degree and HT (ASCP) certification preferred. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

       Perform assigned pre and post analytical activities related to anatomic pathology tests assigned including specimen collection and processing, Quality Control, equipment maintenance, inventory control, Quality Assurance and proficiency testing procedures

        Perform analytical activities related to specimen processing, embedding, cutting, routine and special histologic staining, frozen sectioning, coverslipping, and handling of irreplaceable tissue, surgical, and body fluid specimens.

  • Histotechnician, Certified  Baylor Scott & White Health - Temple, TX
    Join the highly skilled allied health team at Baylor Scott & White Health. We are currently seeking a Certified Histotechnicians to work in one of our laboratories. The Certified Histotechnicians prepare specimens for microscopic evaluation and diagnosis by Pathologists. The Certified Histotechnician will have experience in specimen collection and triage, specimen processing, microtomy techniques, routine and special staining, frozen section technique, special specimen preparation including EM and cytology, and research and development.
    ~ High School Diploma/GED
    ~ Preferred Bachelors degree in a Clinical Lab Science, Chemical, Physical or Biological Science, or Associates Degree in Clinical Lab Science, or 60 semester hours of qualified science course work, completion of an approved medical laboratory training program.
    ~ ASCP-Histotechnician
